Never seen him play postflop. I donkbet on the river to make him call with his pair of 5s (or even 3s). I ruled out him having an A because he checked the turn. Does he think I have a missed FD and is trying to pick me off? Would he really check the river in that case? I donŽt think I can call here. Opinions? |

I'd be too interested to see his hand to fold. This could be just about anything, I guess calling is good getting 3:1.

Re: PP $22s - got c/rŽed on river WHAT?
What kind of hand are you putting him on? You said you can't put him on an Ax, can you put him on a Kx (with x<Q)? How about 3x or 5x? Or like you said, maybe he put you on a missed draw. Your river bet looks like a cheap stab at the pot, so maybe he's trying to steal it from you? If you still really feel like he doesn't have Ax, I think you can call this.
Maybe I'm being weak, but I think I would've checked behind on the river after the turn call. |

Re: PP $22s - got c/rŽed on river WHAT?
I am not happy here as this line looks like we are beat. I will call here given that
(a) getting resonably odds for the times he is try to steal the pot (b) we will tangle in a few more BVB before game end and this will be invaluable in getting an insight into his play. I am not checking behind the river, it losses you value against hands that will call that we are ahead like lone 5's and weaker K's. Given your read was that he was tighter then normal PF a raise would have been good here and you have position after the flop if called. |

Raise PF.
Think you have to call here. Personally I think villian either slow played an Ax or has hit his King on the river. A raise PF, then a raise on the flop would have given you more info. |

Exactly.Raise preflop especially because you think he is tight .see what he does after your conti-bet and you wont have to find yourself in a position like this.
As played i call the river(even though i think villian has you beat). |
