Re: 200NL - Playing a draw in position
i prefer a call. I'd hate to get 3-bet on the turn.

Re: 200NL - Playing a draw in position
I like a raise as it's such a weak bet so we may have some decent fold equity. If we call it defines our hand as a draw and villain will bet out again most rivers. Also it gets more money in the pot if you hit your outs. If we get 3bet we can muck the hand as villain likely has a set.

I just call. Getting 3 bet sucks. He will 3 bet will all his big hands that would probably pay you off some on the river.

Re: 200NL - Playing a draw in position
this looks like a transparent bet/fold line from villian so I think I'd raise almost all my range here.

I decided to call his bet, because at least some of my outs are well disguised. Villain is pretty bad, so he might pay me off when I hit my flush aswell and getting bet/3bet of my hand would suck big time. The reason I posted this hand is that my W$WSF is pretty low (~39), so I'm looking for spots where I might play too weak. I'm obviously interested in more responses.. |

Re: 200NL - Playing a draw in position
W$WSF would be directly correlated to your tendency to see flops with a weak suited ace. This hand is ok from the button with a caller in front so you'll have a multiway pot, but when you make a button raise with these kinds of hands the BB is going to call you light, and rightly so. So you end up playing HU with a hand that is better suited for a multiway pot. Check your PT stats and see how your doing playing flush draws. If you'd like all the math on the weak suited Ace send me a PM. I'd also start checking behind with this and other made hands to do a better job of trapping villain and punishing his ass for calling you OOP.
