This is spot on dude. You can pop with QJs in a multiway pot from late position but there's not much equity to raise with from the BB.
As for the flop, big equity change between flop and turn... I like to check/call the flop and bet/raise the turn to a safe card.

Raise preflop. QJs is a multiway hand and you've got callers.

Either way (pf raise or not) bet the flop. If a raise comes, use the information that the action gave you (for example, did the raise come after everyone else folded, did UTG+1 raise and two players called two cold, etc) to help you decide where you stand.

I don't hate a c/r, but having the flop check through is awful and not an impossibility given the scary board.

No reads were provided but if we knew a late position player was agro I would love a c/r.
