sly you plannin on goin this weekend? I am Q ,loud, fun and I wear a detroit hat so if you see me say hello.

Yeah man. Should be both days. I have the weekend off and am taking my wife to the seafood place Saturday. It's important to keep the tournament director happy.

I'm on the board as Burgio. I usually have a koozie on my beer, a desperate look in my eye, and a really short stack. I'll keep an eye out for you.

HOLY CRAP.....Q! Now I get it!

How embarassing. I was initially thinking Q was an internet euphemism for queer that I didn't know about 'cause I'm old. Which I did think was pretty damn odd to be sharing with the group, if ya get what I'm sayin'. But hey, I'll donate my stack to about anybody if a game is going.

If it's the same Sammy I'm thinking of from the Chip, yeah, I've donated lots to that mofo, lol. And Dustin. And Ralph. And Pat. And a countless hord of other nameless individuals fortunate enough to be seated at my table.

Mrs Sly isn't really a tournament director. She just insists I call her that.

I hope to sneak out of work early enough tomorrow to make the 2 pm $250 tournament. I look forward to meeting you and putting a face with the name.

That's kind of a drag, since most of the old timers in my area still play 7-stud.

[/ QUOTE ]

I bet those old timers would be more resistant to these tables than the younger players anyway.

I'm actually looking forward to trying one of these tables out, I'd like to see how they play. A friend who played a while said they weren't bad at all, once you took a half hour to get used to them.

I saw the commotion at that front table by the desk. Good for your buddy, that's a pretty sweet cash. The jackpot has been reset, it's down to around 36k now.
