Default NL50 & NL100: JJ twice

Villain is 36/12/0.9 over 76 hands, rather laggish. Does not seem to be a really good player. I'm running pretty aggro at that table, about 26/18 so far...

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

UTG ($53.75)
UTG+1 ($48.25)
MP1 ($56)
Hero ($65)
MP3 ($19.25)
CO ($75.10)
Button ($196.70)
SB ($9.50)
BB ($41.25)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.5, 5 folds, UTG calls $2.

Flop: ($5.75) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $4.5, UTG calls $4.50.

Turn: ($14.75) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $8, UTG calls $8.

River: ($30.75) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG bets $38.75 (All-In), Hero ?

Comments?

So, JJ one more time: villain here is 32/4/0.36 over 90 hands and kind of shortstacking obviously. I'm running at 20/14 so far, but didn't hit the flops so far, so I've been seen CB a few times but had to stop then mostly...

I'd fold river in hand 1, and I'd check the flop in hand 2

I agreed - fold first one. But second, why check?

Passive player called you in first one, you may want to check that turn, then you can call cheap river. Second one Call so you can 2out a short stacker and smile inside

It's 5 way and no worse hands call. We risk an a,q falling or someone hitting their two outer but IMO it's worth the risk to see what kind of action happens with everyone else and reevaluate on the turn.

HAND 1:In the first one, I like checking turn. I don't think he's calling your bet with anything worse than top pair. And if he pushed river I still wouldn't call if turn went check check. I'd call a pot bet there. In summation, I'd try to see a cheap showdown.

HAND 2: By betting that flop I think you MUST call that turn. I hate that situation, but I think in the long run you make more by calling in that specific situation.
If you check the flop, you really give the hand away unless it goes check check. But I think even if they hit top pair they'd check it to trap your vbet on the turn. I don't think I'd play HAND 2 differently.

yes, read the action. 3 way flop, hu turn.

I play them both the same, assuming you folded.
