Then it would be a tough spot, I mean he could be raising with 66-99, but he could also have a flush draw with 2 overs, or have you dominated, or have an overpair (less likely.) In that spot I may just fold outright, or call planning to reassess the situation on the turn. Most 66-99 hands wouldn't bet again on the turn, and if the flush hit and villain bet then I'd have an easy fold.

You are currently behind the following hands...
AA,KK,QQ,JJ,TT,55,22,AT,KT,QT,JT,T5,T2,52 (14 hands, sry, Not enough of a math guy to give you exact odds of those,suffice it to say that while the x(face)T combos are less likely, they are also VERY popular hands to play)
Given the flushy board, ANY of these will raise post flop to keep you from drawing to your flush.

Opp could also have called a 3x PF bet with Ax Spades or even Kx as low as K9 (it's early). So I would hardly call your flush draw a clean out for you.

You are beating Hands like AK/AQ/AJ/, but I hardly think &gt;AK is raising this flop.

Your initial raise was a bit of a bluff (and I liked it, although at that early level, I might raise a bit more, like 4-5x). The c-bet was also ok. But after that, I'm pretty much dumping this after he raises me without a better read. (that's why you c-bet after all, to take the hand down or find out whether opp has a better hand. He says he does...without a read, you should believe him)

That said, a push is the only way to continue if you are NOT going to fold. (I'd fold, but I see valid reasons to push, calling would be really awful, and any other raise commits you regardless).
