Did you try what i mentioned? Also, open your hosts file with notepad and paste what it says for me here. C:Windows:System32rivers:Etc: Hosts.

What i meant is, windows computers have a hosts file which is capable of manually hooking ip addresses to domain names. What this basically means, is that many malware have been known to do this and redirect sites such as google.com to ComeGetSomeSpyware.com etc. So whenever you type in google.com, it could take you somewhere else, or no where at all. I think there is a decent chance this is what happened to you, although it could be a number of things.

Here is what i mean't by my previous instrructions. Locate your hosts file with windows explorer (my computer). It is located at C:Windows:System32rivers:Etc: Hosts. When you find it, right click on it and click open. When it asks you what to open with, find notepad, and click open. Then copy and paste the contents in your reply and i will analyze it and see if it is malicious.
