Re: QJo against maniac
[ QUOTE ]
I don't think MP1 and MP3 look that crazy pre-flop with pfr 10-12 they just play to many hands. [/ QUOTE ] 10% of 60% aren't a lot of hands? (Standard is something around 15-20/7-10) [ QUOTE ] didn't see the straight draw. Coldcall for sure. [/ QUOTE ] With the cold call PrfR will stay in (or 3-bet). If we want to play this isn't better the 3-bet? (Whit this I don't want to support my line) |

Re: QJo against maniac
I don't like just cold calling here. I like the 3-bet to see if we can't get rid of UTG+2 and MP1. If we are heads up with the maniac after 3 betting I think it is +EV to call down a maniac with TP OK Kicker providing that the turn is a blank.
Having now seen the turn card and MP3's cap I think we check call turn and river unless we hit our gutshot |

Re: QJo against maniac
The only reason to 3-bet is if he has AK and will fold for two more. I dunno maybe it is worth it but it seems like a bad gamble to me.
