Re: Results
[ QUOTE ]
On a side note: I always thought LAG stood for Loose, Aggressive, Good. If so, this guy forgot the Good part. [/ QUOTE ] I always thought it was Loose AGressive, but this makes me curious to know what it really is. Cody |

Re: AA95 hand vs LAG
Now that I've been pwned by the results, should he have bet the flop instead of raising the turn?

Re: AA95 hand vs LAG
You want to play in a way that doesn't insure you lose the most when behind, and win the least when ahead. That is a dangerous flop in a raised pot, although hero does have the nut flush draw. So checking and calling a bet when made by someone other than a rock (adds possiblities of no straight out but someone just representing same), allows you to see what others do first. Of course against heavy action like a bet and raise then you fold.

Re: AA95 hand vs LAG
Just curious about people though about the psychology behind Villain's call of my all-in bet. My thoughts
- He thought I was on the steal, and he though that his KK was ahead of my hand because a) I couldn't have aces since I didn't reraise MP2's reraise, and b) TTxx, T9xx, or 9xxx would have flat called |
