I think his flop donk is two random cards a lot, so I like your line. I forego protection and hope to induce another bet from him. I like a flop raise if you are planning to call a push, otherwise not so much.

Yeah I'd probably raise the flop vs. this guy.

I'm not a massive fan of the preflop raise, maybe from the button, but I'm mostly calling here.

Apart from that I think you played it perfectly. You don't want to be reraising here as you're raise will make him fold his bluffs with ace high and lower poket pairs. You'll get called by KQ, or KJ. Additionally, if he is betting a flush draw he's unlikely to put it down to a raise as you'd have to make it really large to not give him the implied odds to call.

A final thought, he could have hit a set on this flop. The preflop action justifies this. As does his bet on the flop, hoping you'll raise him with a K and not giving you a free card with a flush draw. His check on the turn also, makes this look like a possible hand, as, ofcourse does the value bet on the river.

One problem you have with calling is that you have less information on him, this makes it harder to play correctly on later streets. But in this instance I prefer your decision to keep the pot size small over defining the hand.

What diid he have?

Boooo. Raise or fold any hand you want to play after one limper. 2 limpers before us, then we can start thinking about limping junk.

[/ QUOTE ]I disagree. If the limper is a total calling station and has a c-bet fold of <40% I think limping behind a good amount of hands is good because he won't fold in a limped pot either where if you hit you can build a pot with position against the bad player.

The first poster said it best in the part I bolded. The second part of the quote is a wrong statement IMO. Your raising to eliminate the other players and keep the bad player in. So what if he calls all the time, he is playing OOP for the rest of the hand. You can abuse him religously throughout a session.

Over limping and inviting other players in the pot is an invitation to go broke post flop, hence the "dont go broke in unraised pots term".

Plus your raising alot more hands, and it will help get action on your power hands.

standard as you already said. I really donīt like raising the flop b/c you will only get called by better hands or fd. checking the turn for pot control is good too. calling the river is obligatory. ithink you got the max out of worse hands and lost the min to better ones.

Why is PF "meh"? Isn't this a pretty standard raise from the CO with only one limper?
