Default QJ suey from C/O. Is this river decision easy?

How did I go in this hand? I struggle with river decisions such as this one. But is it even close?

10/20 Online. 7 handed. Each player in the hand is a decent player who doesn't get out of line often.

Preflop: Hero has Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. (7 players).
UTG folds, EP limps, EP2 limps, Hero raises, Button cold-calls, SB folds, BB folds, EP calls, EP2 calls.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. (4 players).
EP checks, EP2 checks, Hero bets, Button folds, EP calls, EP2 calls.

Turn: T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. (3 players).
EP checks, EP2 checks, Hero checks.

River: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. (3 players).
EP checks, EP2 bets, Hero...

You mean between a fold and a call, right? And you want to fold?

AJ of diamonds is the only hand that makes sense. But then isn't he a bit passive with that?

I'd just call/fold to be sure; is that a leak?

Hehe. No way I'm folding. At least not to EP2's bet.

go for an overcall then. (anyway, that's my intuition-based, non-mathematically supported advice)

Why are you betting the flop?

Yeah, that flop bet is pretty bad imho as well.

I don't bet the flop.

River is close between a call and a raise but I'm leaning toward raise.

If you would have bet turn and then villian donked river I'm only calling.

I'd just call the river by the way. The pot is multiway, large, and a very obvious draw just got there.

There's a reasonable chance you'll get overcalled by a worse holding, and can you lay this down to a 3bet? I can't because I'm a showdown freak.

Plus, going runner runner straight after a flop spew, getting there and cracking a hand like A9 and flatcalling the river has to be good for some implied tilt odds.

I would never raise this with someone behind me.

Definite call. Your turn check makes lots of 2-pairs or good aces want to bet there. He might even be trying to bluff it. I'd expect to end up against a flush maybe 70% of the time.
