Default sick JJ hand deep 10/20

Villain is 22/18. lots of history and 3/4/5beting light etc on various tables, although we've been kinda quiet last hour or so and I've been showing down goods a couple times(although far from set mining and he knows it). I dunno what else is important, but we've definitely been tangling A LOT and raising flop w/ nothing/floating with nothing etc is far from unheard of.

Oh yeah I'm running like 29/24

vomit

the forum consensus always seems to be a fold in these type of spots, and I am always the one arguing for a call.

But I think in this specific hand this is an obvious fold

I was sitting with you.
I would have folded imho, but it`s a tough one.
He has at last AKs, right?
TT would be easy, but with the possibility that he has TT it`s tough.
You can`t fold out a better hand, all draws stay in with, so fold.

Gross spot, I could go either way. Looks like a fold in most situations but you guys have a lot of history so he could 3 bet the flop with a wider range for value and with nothing.

Against a range of AA, TT, KQ, we have 38% equity, which is probably a little below what we need here to stack off. I didn't include any semibluffs or the chance of him overplaying something like AJ, or the possibility of total air.

I imagine our equity is always above 35% against any reasonable range, which would mean shoving would probably not be a huge mistake no matter what. Folding is definitely fine though and I would probably fold to most straightforward players this deep.

Interested to hear results.

aisle,

Am I missing something? Why didn't you include any flushes in that range?
