Re: Stars $100 HU-sng - Tough spot with baby Full House
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] River Jh, completing the backdoor heartflush. Hero bets 300, has 900 left. Villain starts to chat and says: not the heart flush, or something like that, Hollywoods for about 30 secs and then goes all-in. [/ QUOTE ] Here's my read: Villain is trying to imitate the scene from "Rounders" where Malkovich's character says "I don't have the flush" before winning an all-in bet with aces full of nines. Re: Stars $100 HU-sng - Tough spot with baby Full House: Results
I decided to respond without reading the others first. I believe you are right that he has an ace. If he is a passive player, he probably wouldn't make this move w/o an ace. AK and AJ are both real possiblities. Personally, I make the call here. If I lose, than so be it. I am not one to lay down a full house in a hu match when my house beats so many of his potential hands. For all we know, he might have made some stupid flush and thinks you have an ace. He checked the flop, picked up a flush draw on the turn, and made it on the river. Hopefully, you made the call and won the hand.
