Re: Your favorite classic \"NFL Films\" quote
BILL PARCELLS:
"So are we gonna play some football tonight, or are we gonna just f*ck around?" -casually spoken to his Jets players during Monday night pregame stretching at New England. Jets upset Pats that night. |

BILL PARCELLS: "You girls gonna play some football tonight, or you gonna just f*ck around?" [/ QUOTE ] OMG, I was at this MNF game from like 9 years ago. This was the actual quote, though, I'm pretty sure, and he was speaking to members of his underachieving Jets offense while they stretched. Jet's were 6.5 pt dog that night and beat Pats straight up. |

We’re gonna get it done... what’s more, we gotta get it done. You have to hear it spoken. Lou Saban is the all time man. How did he raise such a crap-weasel? [/ QUOTE ] Nick is his son? I thought he was a nephew or something. |

Re: Your favorite classic \"NFL Films\" quote
My favorites are both Gruden.
"We have got the boringest kickoff return unit...in the history of this GREAT league." Something about his pride in the league was really funny. As the D is apparently getting burned repeatedly by some WR: "What's with this number 81? Is he just that much better than us?" and you vaguely hear someone quietly reply "He's pretty good." Followed a few minutes later by "Somewhere out there in the world I'm gonna find me a guy who can cover 81." |

Re: Your favorite classic \"NFL Films\" quote
My favorite was hearing Steve Young, after getting injured and half-limping, half-hopping down the field, say:
"It's only a flesh wound!" as a 13 year old nerd who knew this movie cold, this warmed my heart. Shame I didn't like Steve Young. |

Re: Your favorite classic \"NFL Films\" quote
Ray Lewis, miked up and as bad as you want him, yelling "get the hell off of him" as he manhandles opposing players off of a teammate during a pileup. But as soon as anyone from the other team even brushes him during a deadball situation, he scowls "What the [censored] you touching me for? Don't you EVER touch me!"
Marty Schottenheimer, trying to get an official's attention, "Hey Bill! Hey Bill!"...pulls a card out of his pocket and looks at it..."Hey Steve!" (doubt those were the actual names, and not even completely sure if it was Marty, but some coach did it, and it was pretty funny) |

Re: Your favorite classic \"NFL Films\" quote
My favorite quote was either from NFL Films or just a random Mic'd up Bill Parcells at practice. Apparently the kicker was questionable or something.
Parcells to trainer: What's his status this week? Trainer: I'm not sure if he can play Parcells: He doesn't have to play, he just has to kick. |
