I am not justin so my gnomes NEVER sat at the same table, waiting to devour a new player. I would go to my friend's house and play while they were at work.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is not cheating.

however, gnome-whores like you make my bonus sub-optimal.

[/ QUOTE ]

What a hypocrite. How is that not cheating? Other players who follow the rules and have one account can't get as much rakeback, or any at all. You're profiting through a way that goes against the T and C. You sir, should have voted that you have cheated before.

i could debate it, but what's the point. define cheating. there is no such one player to a hand rule, so it's not cheating. seems open and shut. shall we now debate the sum of 2 and 2? i hear it's 4.

[/ QUOTE ]

Here is a pertinent paragraph from Party's unfair practices page which I linked to in my previous post:

[ QUOTE ]

Unfair practices are any practice (including but not limited to the use of BOTs, AI, multiple account use and/or practices conducted in collaboration with other players) carried out by one or more players, with one or more accounts which could put any other player not engaging in such activity at a competitive disadvantage where the unfairness in such activity is due to its success being based to some extent on concealment and/or deception against such players. One way of thinking about this is to consider whether a group of peers, when presented with information about the practice, would overwhelmingly consider that practice to be unfair.

[/ QUOTE ]

I added the emphasis. While it doesn't specifically say "one player to a hand", this clearly indicates that IM'ing someone and working through a hand in progress together is an unfair practice and therefore it is cheating.

From the same page, here is Party's definition of collusion:
[ QUOTE ]

2. Collusion:
Two or more players sharing and using their combined knowledge to gain an advantage over other players at a table.

[/ QUOTE ]

Again,IMO, this definition clearly indicates that two player's playing the same hand is cheating. This is not the "traditional" method of collusion, but it is certainly collusion by this definition.

This issue is not an open and shut case.

If I'm not playing, I'm not a player. I'm an observer. This is such a useless debate too. Who the hell cares if 20 people sit around and debate every hand and then act (aside for it holding the game up)?

I don't care, however I was unneccesarily called an idiot for voting that this is cheating and I don't take kindly to being called an idiot for voicing my opinion.

Please don't reply to my posts by whining about some other poster calling you a name.

first, i don't get rakeback, so don't infer i am a hypocrite.

second, for the purposes of this thread, we are talking about cheating at cards, not cheating the site. just because you and your slimy, cheating, douchebag buddies can't understand this, it is not my problem.

Don't infer my friends cheat either, because they don't. My stance on this issues is based on what I would do.

And you said any people who would lie, cheat, or steal deserve to be turned in. Disobeying T and C is just that.

I voted yes because I play as a family member at the site I play at for an obvious reason.
