Three day total and awesome one pair/flush stats:

Question is, when does one say, "I cannot handle this level", and drop down? 200 BB? I dunno...

Seems like now would be a good time. Maybe grind back the $1300 at your normal stakes and try again...

The stealing and BB defense thing is a big problem here, esp given your seat selection strategy of sitting next to these agro guys.

Here is a list of some the hands I've defended at 10/20 and 15/30 recently: AA, AKs, AQo, AJs, AJo, ATo, A9o, A7s, A7o, A6s, A6o, A5s, A3o, KK, KQs, KJo, KTs, KTo, K9o, K8s, K8o, K6s, K5o, K4o, K2s, QQ, QJs, QJo, QTo, Q9s, Q8s, Q7o, Q6o, Q5o, JJ, JTo, J9o, J8o, J7o, J6s, J4s, TT, T9o, T8o, 99, 98s, 98o, 95o, 94s, 87o, 86o, 85s, 76s, 76o, 75s, 75o, 74s, 55, 54o, 44, 22

A lot of the weaker ones are very situational and some of these were probably -EV, but this should give you a since of were you need to be heading here. 55% FBBtS is going to get you run over bad in agro games.

Haha - dude, my seat selection strategy is not to sit next to aggro guys. Those mofos are completely unavoidable in the 5/10 games on Stars. I hate them, for sure, but what can you do?

Your list is pretty helpful - thanks a lot! I just went through and compared it to what I played during my time in hell at 5/10. Generally, I wouldn't play low Ax for a raise if the raise came from early position (out of fear of domination), I wouldn't play crap like mid Qxo or Kxo (say, Q8o-Q4o and K8o-K4o) if there was a pre-flop raise and a cold caller or a pre-flop raise from early position, or an early position limper and a raiser (again, all out of fear of domination), I played most suited hands if there was one raiser in late position, I folded a lot of stuff to UTG raises, I wouldn't play some marginal hands like if there was a raise and the small blind completed, because I generally think of a small blind completion as a reasonable show of strength. Uhhhh, that captures a lot of my thinking on blind defense. Generally, if I feel like there's a really good chance that I'll be dominated if I hit my hand, or too many people enter the pot and I have something like Ax, I bail out. It's entirely possible, too, that I had a little nitvoice in my brain saying, "these monies buy a lot of Bangkok [censored] - be careful mofo!". I just looked at my 3/6 stats, though, and with exactly six players at the table, I only defend my blind 45% of the time. So maybe I need to look into opening up. Do you have any more general advice for how to best do this?

Chuck it, I'm takin' my sorry azz back to 3/6...

If not playing for a living, one moves up any time one doubles one's BR. If playing for a living, then one likely has to collect a separate BR for 5-10 (200 times should be enough as it's just a starting BR one needs) and play there extra time till one gets significant results.
