All,

PNL is really, really good. It teaches good, practical thinking without being as abstract and obtuse as NLTP, and it's not as overly specific as The Little Green Book or, to use a LHE example, Lee Jones's book.

[/ QUOTE ]

If I keep running good at 15/30, I don't know if I'm going to look into NL any time soon (even though I do own NLTP). Two sessions, 9.5 hours, ~$1700. It makes breaking even at 1/2 6-max for 3 months feel less bad.

I'm not sure why I have this, but this was sitting on my desktop in a text file. I am not the hero, but a fellow 2p2er is. Can you remember this hand?

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Flop: (29 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (7 players)
SB checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, UTG+1 folds.

Turn: (20 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP3 calls, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls.

River: (24 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, MP3 calls, CO calls.

Final Pot: 28 BB

was this a "how many streets can you misplay" contest that i didn't know about? hero managed at least 2.5/4 by my count (the river is close), but gets bonus points for the preflop and flop play.

Brag: Just got my copy of PNL.

[/ QUOTE ]
[censored]. Did you get it early for being a mod, or is it available now at finer bookstores across the nation? 'Cause if it is, I would have rather bought it than stox.

[ QUOTE ]
Also, NC title nominations are now open.

Obligatory self-nomination for "wishing I could smoke cigarettes and masturbate".

Hey, if we could say "Thermonuclear Butt-[censored] Tilt," we can say "Masturbate."
