$3,500 into $250K in 1 year is possible. I don't think you'd even need to go beyond 3/6 to achieve it.
The starting bankroll would be sufficient to 12 table a mix of 1/2 - 3/6 (I know because I do it routinely). Averaging $15K/month at the tables gets you $180K, and if you play 100K hands/month, you'll earn around $70K in rakeback/bonus money. I say no problem.

You'd have to play 50+ hours/week to reach $300k. The max a top player could maintain at $1/$2 (12 tables) is around 7BB/100 + RB = ~$120/hour = $250k/year playing 40 hours/week.

[/ QUOTE ] You should just set an amoumt of hands goal rather than time. You can squeeze in hands all over the place! If you can win at 5BB/100, you will need to average 2750 hands per day. If you 8 table, this would mean about 4-5 hours per day, every day. Definitely doable!!
