I think the 2/4 games on AP are 90% filled with regs when I have played in them. Like others have suggested in this thread, I think its a good idea to transfer money over to FTP to play 2/4 and higher.

Why is everyone suggesting FTP rather than PS? Is it just because of the rakeback, or is 2/4 softer there?

I haven't played on FTP in a while, but switching from the softer Absolute to the harder Stars would be a bad idea.

Absolute 1/2 NL quite for sure is soft oompared to some others but i really dont think that 2/4 on another site would be that much harder... Larger pool of players means better table selection where at AP there are only about 2-6 2/4 NL tables going at a time filled with 4 spots of professional players....

Trust me. I've played a bunch on Stars and a bunch on Absolute. Absolute is A LOT SOFTER than stars.

Hey man, Ive played with you a decent amount. I think you know who I am... Jessica Alba avatar. Anyway, I think you play good. I only read about half of your hands and half of this thread, but from what I saw most were just coolers, ect.
As for 3 betting, I have trouble 3 betting on AP because often you are so deep stacked that it is correct for people to call light. Try 3 betting in position more with hands that will be easy to play after the flop. I like to 3 bet hands like 78s, ect for image, because I can take it down on the flop, and they are extremely easy to play. Dont do this every time you are dealt that hand either.

Try calling less in marginal situations preflop. I play a fairly tight game, but do well still. Sometimes it may be correct to just fold that KQo out of position if you dont think a 3 bet will be profitable there. There are definately fish to feed off of on AP. As I think others have said, try not to worry too much with the regs and instead target the fish. If you want, talk to me on aim, I should be on later tonight. My aim is jpsnow72.
Im kind of experiencing the same problem you are moving up to 5 10 on UB right now. Sometimes youll just get some coolers at the wrong time, but thats part of the game. I def thing you are strong enough to beat 2 4NL on AP.

Ok i guess ill just have to trust you on that one... I guess i just have a hard time believing a site with that many players is full of straight pros

JP, ya i remember you, thanks for the tips... Im going to put a little $ of FT, what do you think of that, just to play 2/4, AP really has it out for me or something at 2/4

DaCooler - I play with you on AP a bit. I have u as 23/14/1.8 over @ 2470 hands. Ironically, I have you winning at 2/4 - obv. the sample is small.

You play fine. Today you were ranting so much! Just calm down and play your game and be more aggressive on the turn.
