Stats don't mean anything unless its 100k on players...

My last 10k hands show me as a losing player...

My last 40k hands show me as a winning player...

etc etc...

Look at thread in MSNL discussion thread which has biggest winners and losers from Feb (I'll just quote it) *** If its not the right thing then Mods csn edit my post etc :

Hopefully this doesn't upset anyone too much- I think most will find it interesting. But here are February's PS stats which I believe to be pretty damn accurate.

This is 3/6NL and 5/10NL combined. I don't get 10/20NL or 25/50NL hands and only 6max.

Vava- some of those are even more depressing , especially the part where my UGA brethren owns me in money made.

Before September I was breakeven/marginal. Now I'm losing/breakeven/suicidal. Like the guy said, preflop is not that important if you start with 100BB+ and have huge postflop leaks.

Interesting post and I'll add my 2 cents as a SSNL loser and µSNL (marginal) winner.

1) Party refugees that aren't adjusting to FT, Stars. When I switched, I left behind 4-5 PTBB at 100 NL. I don't play a lot of hands and I'm guessing some of the losing players are in the same boat so the adjustment period could be pretty long. I dropped 6.5 buyins at 100NL at FT since the switch in 3 shots at 100NL. I dipped back down to 25NL and even 10NL to adjust to FT. Party was sickeningly easy and a very different style than FT. I was all in way more at party...thats a huge leak at FT.

2) Rakeback keeps many of us marginal winners/losers afloat. While I've managed to put up very good numbers at 50NL over the last 2 months (~11K in hands), Rakeback helps us and doesn't hit your PT database.

3) New Year's resolutions, Beginning of the year workloads, F'n Frist. All of these combine to make for a slightly enriched pool of better players. I don't have a big enough sample size to test any of this out. This is also the opposite of the new crop of Joe College noobs in Sept which seem to make Sept - Dec my best months.

3) Money pulled out and some good bankroll management by players mean solid players playing lower limits than in prelegislation. To me, FT 50NL is back to being pretty good and easy relative to say Sept/Nov. But I'm guessing there are some good players still grinding 200NL on their way up and moving more slowly than prelegislation.
