Why? Cops are the adversaries of criminals. Why is it so morally wrong for criminals to kill cops, assuming they are already killers. Cops are standing in their way of freedom and a livelihood. I think criminals killing innocent people are much more morally 'wrong'. Also, child molesters, wife beaters and sexual offenders are all much worse imo.

Cops were wrong, and should have to face consequences. If the dude really fully recovered like they showed in the video I don't think the consequences should be that harsh.

Its not only avenging your coworker and friend, its important to send a message to other criminals the consequences of killing an officer.

The only part of this story that makes me feel bad is that he got life and not the chair. The cops should have killed him

It's great how somebody shouts out "look what they did to him" when he's brought into the courtroom. I'm pretty sure the cop he shot point blank in the face was in worse shape.

God damn you people who actually believe there should be consequences for the cops disgust me. I won't call it 'right', but it certainly isn't 'wrong' either. I'm not saying this applies to each and every case of unnecessary police brutality, but this guy had it coming and no innocent party was harmed. Case closed.

That mom and anyone who wants punishment for the cops deserves a kick in the face.
