How do you get your cash to Vegas?

Just do a wire transfer if you don't feel comfortable carrying it. I wired $9,000 from Bank of America to the Wynn on May 31 and wired back $23,000 yesterday; which arrived today. Simple and hassle-free and there was zero cost for the wire. I withdrew chips and cash throughout the trip. Pretty simple.

bad beetz once was told to empty everything out of his pockets at the airport on the way to Vegas and dumped more than $5K in $20 bills into one of the change bowl things. Security at the airport saw it and said nothing. I carried $30K+ in cash in my pocket back from Vegas last time. These threads show up every few months and the answer is always the same. Put it in your pocket.

I think the main issue is that many people haven't held $10K in cash in their hands and think, "ZOMG 10K must be a stack of 100's a foot high". With crisp $100 bills, 10K isn't even 1" high. See http://spyhunter007.com/Images/ten_thousand_dollars.jpg - and those aren't even crisp.

Last time I was in Vegas one of the casinos (not the horseshoe) had a small glass box with $1,000,000 cash in it - I think it was maybe the Venetian. I was really suprised at how little space the entire amount took up.
