Re: $215 (R)... Kick in the Door
ok well ive also gotten better to the point that i dont think ill embarrass myself commenting on $215 hands and actually feel quite confident. so
PF i would usually need better but i guess its okay i bet this flop. you say villian is a little aggro but unless he is a calling station i bet here. turn is tricky and i dont understand calling like a few people said. you have to hope he checks river and your A8 is good for this to be good which i dont see happening enough. pushing looks best your FE is high |

Re: $215 (R)... Kick in the Door
Betting the flop should definitely be the standard play here IMO.
Turn is fine obviously, it helps to have outs and it helps that your opponent could be on a total bluff due to the weakness you showed on the flop. Calling with the idea of betting the river if they check is also reasonable. Folding the turn seems too pathetic to me, I mean cmon do they really need to have anything here? |

Yeah the pf is absolutely fine if you ask me and the flop too, although you can cont bet sometimes, to mix it up and what have you a check is probably the standard play. [/ QUOTE ] No way in hell should a check be the standard play here!! We raised preflop, random bum in BB calls, flop is totally innocuous etc etc. Checking is okay, but I think that if we are going to play this hand PF, we should definitely bet this flop, especially since we can make a bet that looks like it may commit us but really doesn't |

[ QUOTE ] I like it! The open-raise here is pretty standard, I thought. [/ QUOTE ] Well, maybe the 215s are tighter than I remember them, but with 16BB and four larger stacks to act and a real shaky hand, I'm being pretty conservative here. On a tight table it's fine though, of course. [/ QUOTE ] I think folding is fine too depending on the table dynamic. Of course raising is completely fine too. |

[ QUOTE ] I think fold is the big loser of the three. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, anyone who folds Ace-high on the turn with a crappy kicker and a crappy draw, especially when he might be drawing dead, must really suck. Maybe against 1-2% of his range we are drawing dead here. |

Fold preflop, unregister from the 215 Regular you were currently sitting in, then move to the speeds.

Re: $215 (R)... Kick in the Door
wtf? I used to have long posts. Glad I was backing a good horse even before he became a six figga wigga.
The only think I remember about this thread was picking out the pineapple image. I can't believe I was surprised by pineapple getting irritated and storming out of a thread. |
