[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] You're the one telling people to fold AK/AQ. [/ QUOTE ] I thought he was saying "kindly fold your AK and AQ so I can take your monies," but I may have misread. [/ QUOTE ] This is what I was saying. CMAR, I must have misinterpreted what you were saying and you misinterpreted me. The 76s example is exactly why shortstacking is so profitable. Its because you're supposed to call with that hand, but the SSer is shipping like 27 or so BB of equity in a 40 BB pot. [/ QUOTE ] the mistake is raising 76s with a shortstack behind this is where the shortstacker edge really comes from, exploiting fullstacks trying not to be exploited by other fullstacks, you have to tighten up with shortstackers around, but doing so leaves you vulnerable to fullstacks, and well mistakes vs shortstacks tend to be much much smaller than ones vs fullstacks |

Re:

SS is a profitable strategy. I've worked on my SS game over 150k hands, and am a clear winner at 2.5BB/100. I'm currently on a 25K hand break-even stretch too, so it was a higher win rate. Most regulars play incorrectly vs me, some just avoid me and some call too liberally. [/ QUOTE ] what are your stats over your 150k hands? |
