I try to play some 20h per week. I play mainly 2/4-3/6 5-max 2-tabling. I make about $40 an hour on average. My BR is usually at least 400BB. I have some other incomes as well from investments an so on, so I manage ok.

Since when did $800 a week constitute a "living"?

Seriously though, that is one hell of a win rate. Good work.

well it's tax free! and with the taxes in sweden you would have to have a salary of over $9000 a month to get the same amount to spend. And you have to work 40h a week, travel through heavy trafic in the mornings, be all worn out when you hurry home to pic up the kid att kindergarten. There are many upsides of playing full time (part time)...

Okay, that is a good point.

By the way I was only kidding - that's why the next line began "seriously though", to imply that the previous line was not exactly serious.

As long as there is some plan for how to make significantly more down the years, whether it's poker or by getting a j o b, $800/mo is obviously plenty. Good luck!
