Every time shortstack joins, all regs but best HU player sit out. Would this not kill shortstacking on stars?

we should boycott check raising

try sucking less at telling people they suck less at analogies

both shortstacking and check raising are within the rules. its the exact same thing. if all the regulars didnt know how to adjust to flop checkraises, there could be a boycott thread just like this. dont hate the player hate the game

[/ QUOTE ]

we're not saying it's against the rules. It tightens up the games and getting ratholed is [censored] lame.

Sitting out won't work because of prisoners' dilemma amongst other things....... a go slow would be much more effective imo.

[/ QUOTE ]

Just curious, explain why prisoners' dilemma applies here.

my problem with them is that it they break games and make the game much less fun for anyone, especially recreational players. Also I do not like the fact that they never respect HUs or show any class whatsoever.

Never saw this, just watched a few tables for a little bit and the short stacks were doubling up like crazy. Is this really a profitable strategy?

Its not the same as this isnt a simultaneous move game, but the basic point it is better for everyone to sit out than for everyone to sit in, but if everyone is sitting out then each guy individually has the incentive to sit in with the fish, so everyone sits in....

Why do you guys never hate on the 200-400 game which is always full of short stackers. I guess because you all never play it and it doesnt affect you but the highest limits are full of them.
Right now 200-400 6 max is running on full tilt with 5/6 having less than half a buy in and 2 with 8000.
