Meh. How often does the straight flat call the turn? Nothing else would raise the river.

My question is how long did you take to make every decision on the flop, turn, and river? Sounds like you had made your mind up that he had air on the flop and just went into instant call mode am I right?

Aba, i've played some HU with you, so I know how you play. This makes some sense in fitting into your game to be making some bluff catching like this, but not really? I can't remember when you went into check call with top set. Not once... Not that we played that much, 700 hands.
You need at least a gutshot/backdoor draws to be doing this stuff.
Raise flop pot or fold, IMO. Semi-bluff the flop or get out (standard play obv).

flop is really bad imo... cant have a reason that makes it ok i dont think.

edit: turn/riv can be fine depending on what mood hes in etc.

Only thing Ive know about Gus plo plays is that he seems to be very good valuebetting light.
