Man of Means By No Means is sitting in his foxwoods 4/8 game with pocket 10's and makes a preflop raise. Two coldcallers, who are probably getting suspicious of my raises, come along as does the TAG-ish big blind.

Flop is 10-7-4 rainbow. Top set. BB donks, I raise, others fold, BB calls. Turn is a Q which I bet and then I hear a ghostly voice say 4-5-6-7, which I then realize is the big blind mentally verifying his open ender. River is an 8, he bets and I consider making a sick fold...instead just paying off and seeing 6-5.

"I heard you say 4-5-6-7"

"Really?"

"That would be a great reverse tell to use now"

Tonight was a real rollercoaster at the tables. I started by dropping 20 bets in short order at an awesome FR table that broke down into short handed. Oh well. Then I went on a siiiiick heater, running up to more than 50 BB in the black. Now I'm down 0.7 BB. The sets giveth, and the sets taketh away.

Here's one that cracked me up, though.

Full Tilt Poker
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $5/$10
5 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
CO folds, Button calls, SB folds, BB raises, Hero calls, Button calls.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
BB bets, Sweet! I has a oh ee ess dee! Hero calls , Button calls.

Turn: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
BB checks, Hero checks, Button bets, BB calls, Hero calls Oh noes! That iz no oh ee ess dee!.

River: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
BB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

Results:
Final pot: -1.25BB
Hero showed 8d 9h
Button showed 9d 8s
BB mucks 6s 6d

O rly? LOL

Heh. Man, the converter really borked this hand. It screwed up almost every street, which I fixed, but not the limits, which I assumed it could handle. This is 5/10.

Crap, I didn't even see that my turn call was w/ a double gutter. I thought I had just screwed the pooch on the whole hand.

Did you notice that the rake had left the pot at -$12.50?

That's another converter error in this hand I'd missed.
