Default Only +EV In Your Poker Books!!

Bravos is right. 70FPP players are ZOMG horrible. One hand though:

This guy when we got HU was shoving all-in every hand. I get Aces in the BB expecting this to be double-up time. He completes. I check because he's likely going to all-in the flop anyways w/ anything. Flop is 59Kr. He does the AI, I call. He flips over NINE FIVE!!

The turn is another king. THAT IS CALLED JUSTICE!!

And on a different note. Did anyone notice that the new Sunday $100k filled to the max of 17,500 people?

2625 places paid and first place gets $19,285! Now that's some nice ROI.

"Interesting. That's very interesting."

On the other hand, the odds of placing respectfully combined with the time it takes might make this a waste thanks to the ridiculously huge pool.

Meh, just play uber-tight until the first break, and you'll be down to a more manageable maybe 5k or so hands. Second break I'll bet it's in triple digits, and if you've played at all decently in the one or two hands you should have seen you'll have a decent stack going.

IOW, you're going to be looking at a very long preflop push-fest of people trying to double up or drop out.

Default Caro\'s Tells: the OESD whisperer

Man of Means By No Means is sitting in his foxwoods 4/8 game with pocket 10's and makes a preflop raise. Two coldcallers, who are probably getting suspicious of my raises, come along as does the TAG-ish big blind.

Flop is 10-7-4 rainbow. Top set. BB donks, I raise, others fold, BB calls. Turn is a Q which I bet and then I hear a ghostly voice say 4-5-6-7, which I then realize is the big blind mentally verifying his open ender. River is an 8, he bets and I consider making a sick fold...instead just paying off and seeing 6-5.

"I heard you say 4-5-6-7"

"Really?"

"That would be a great reverse tell to use now"
