polo,
a "nittish and predictable" player probably will lay KK down there. folding is what nits do best.

I like it against a nit. The turn bet is fine. He doesnt call this with overs. He's defined his hand as overpair and you've left yourself a 2x pot bet for river. He will fold QQ and KK, maybe AA as well.

Ghaz,

[ QUOTE ]
What hand are you representing with this line?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think my line is very consistent with 99 or J9. But really any full house.

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ]
J9 baby!

I would definitely show, because this play is very frightening to a decent player. Also, I'd bet less on the river.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't buy it. This line is 99 or a bluff (and TT is bluffing here) close to 100% of the time. The bet sizing doesn't make sense for anything else. I haven't (knowingly) played with OP but looking at the hand in a vacuum, it doesn't add up.

[/ QUOTE ]

If I had posted it from villians perspective which hands would you recommend calling the river with?

[ QUOTE ]
I dunno; I probably would've raised or folded the flop with JT.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would very very very raise/fold JT here FWIW.

I just fold this on flop. He has AJ+

[/ QUOTE ]

How do you put him on AJ+ so quickly? Is it only versus fairly nitty players you're autofolding this flop? How "crazy" does the villian have to be before you consider not folding here?

i think this bet is very easily seen thru.

[/ QUOTE ]

So you routinely call here as villian holding KK?

[ QUOTE ]

Most donks will call you with KK cause they dont know how to lay down.

[/ QUOTE ]

I never said villian was a donk (in the classic sense atleast). On the contrary i said he had nitty tendencies.

[ QUOTE ]

and any good player will see right thru this and also call with KK.

[/ QUOTE ]

So you think my handrange consists mainly of hands worse than KK here? I have the boat or a jack less than 50% (or whatever the odds needed to call here are) of the time?

[ QUOTE ]

I dont see why you dont believe your 1010 are good. check behind and give up the hand if he has KK.

[/ QUOTE ]

What hands do you put villian on that plays like this that my tens beat?

[ QUOTE ]

not worth risking 1200 to win 500, when your getting called by KK a high %.
easy flawless

[/ QUOTE ]

Again, I don't believe this to be true.

This is not a good approach as it changes the whole character of the hand. I would beat some opponents into the pot with a hand as weak as QQ here and there are others against whom AJo is an easy muck. When I see a line like yours (which is rarely), I usually know the player well enough to know what to do. I also tend to go with my gut instinct in weird situations like this over logical analysis. Timing tells throughout the hand and general feel in the moment can swing me one way or the other.

This looks good to me, but I too would bet more on the turn.

This is one crazy hand.. Your line make sence but I probably chicken out on the river, but now when deciding to try to bluff him of an probable overpair you have to push, a PSB would be looked up too often.

And if he folds, I show the hand.
