Honestly, advice- if you're playing differently (in this case nittier) based on you're recent downswing, take a break and move down a limit so you can regain your confidence and not be results-oriented. BTW, UTG only limp/calls preflop with 444 or A2s that beat you? Does he limp/call preflop with AA and c/c whole way!? Then open shoves river when you check to him? I NEVER fold this- in fact I just shove in on the river. U've underrepped ur hand SO much, I call 100% of the time.

This is something that got overlooked. I really openshove river myself, not because you "underrepped ur hand" (you haven't), but because a guy like this is NEVER EVER going anywhere with a Q, which is by far his most likely holding given flop and turn play.

I really don't like the way you played that river. We are losing a lot of value here by checking to a loose passive player. I'd usually just push that river myself.

As played: call.

I did move down a limit, hence me being at 1/2

now I'm at .50/1

One thing I've been noticing lately is that while we can analyze someone's high VPIP, low PRF, low AF and act accordingly, but most importantly, terrible numbers usually mean that the player flat out sucks in general.

I like this approach too - I've been using villains' numbers in this way recently to simply get a feel for his overall skill level. And from there, play poker accordingly, rather than trying to draw specific and narrow conclusions about what particular numbers mean.

The river is a good fold for sure i think.

You guys really think he is value pushing a queen on this river????? LOLOLOL. This is a 2 or 44 always.

Kil, I think the fold is good, but I would ALWAYS lead river here

yeah I realized right after I did it that it was a terrible check.
When I tilt/play bad I tend to make decisions very fast and not think things through

....

why would he push a queen on the river? Seriously, wtf?

Against a better player I'm way more likely to call than a donk here, since a better player almost never has 44 or a 2.

Because ZOMG I have a FULL HOUSE with the highest card on the board!

I think you're over-thinking this.
