Just looked at PT, and I had a set.

First, I think there's arguments to be made for raising and calling preflop. I probably raise in your spot 80-90% of the time for reasons Stealthy mentioned.

Those of you saying it's ass or spew are crazy though. Nines are way ahead of my range here. You also can't only 3-bet with AA-JJ/AK. Adding in fold equity of me folding a better hand (TT sometimes, JJ and QQ rarely, but I'm in a bad spot OOP) and this is a 3-bet at least half the time.

Second, what do you think I'm bluffing with here? You'll never find me in this spot without at least some sort of draw. Considering the lack of a draw outside of 57/79, I have at least TP here.

[/ QUOTE ]If you had a set, you played the hand as badly as you possibly could. You realise this is only good if you opponent is very good at hand reading and likes to make big wtf call downs?

[/ QUOTE ]

You have no idea what my reads were, what my image was, the flow of the table, etc. I didn't ask for help with this hand, please don't give any to me.

I dont understand the turn raise.

If you think you are ahead why not call and try to show down on the river, or get him to bet worse hands?
