From the sounds of the other FTP happy email thread, something should be available shortly from FTP.

i just sent this reply, blah, just blah.

When did that change, and what is the reason. UPS is still listed as an option in your withdraw window.

Is it not an option for anyone, or just for me? Does it become an option again if I lower the amount of my withdraw?

you say "At this time, we regret that we are unable to deliver checks by UPS to US residents." So can I have it delivered to an address outside of the United States?

Is there a physical location for full tilt poker? Could I get on a plane, fly to wherever and pick up my money in person?

Is USP refusing to deliver for you or are you short on readily availible cash?

As you are currently my "bank" and I have $xxx dollars in my account, I deserve some answers here.

Looking forward to some clarification in this time of confusion,
thanks, Steve

got the reply:

Hello Steve,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker.

At this time, we regret that we are unable to send your check by UPS
delivery. Due to a recent change in our payment processor's policies,
checks are currently being offered to US players by regular mail
delivery only. This is a temporary matter which we are working speedily
to resolve. All U.S. players have been restricted to regular mail at
this time. Yes, you can have your check sent by UPS to an address
outside of the U.S, however, your address must match the address on your
Full Tilt Poker account and the Utility Bill and ID that is requested.
The payment processor that delivers checks for Full Tilt Poker has
decided they do not want to use UPS for U.S. players. Fed-Ex is not an
option at this time as well.

If you would like to use regular mail, it will take 25-35 business days.
We will need you to email support@fulltiltpoker.com to confirm if you
would still like to receive a check and use regular mail. After
confirming, please re-request your withdrawal.

We greatly apologize for the inconvenience and we hope to have more
options to serve you soon.

As you consider your options, please keep in mind that you may still
open an ePassporte account to deposit and then use it to withdraw funds.
We have a comprehensive Quick Start guide for using ePassporte at:
http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/payEpassporte.php

If you set up an account with Epassporte and make a successful deposit,
you can withdraw the funds to your Epassporte account. The maximum
amount is $5000.00 per transaction, so please make sure that if you will
be depositing in higher amounts to request the withdrawal in $5000.00
increments.

Due to security reasons we cannot divulge our location.

We appreciate your understanding, and if you have any questions or
concerns, feel free to email support@fulltiltpoker.com.

Regards,

Alexandra

from other email threads about FT:
We've contracted with new payment processors who are committed to the U.S. market - These processors all use payment systems
unaffected by last week's developments, and will become available starting this week.

I'd give it a few more days before i would request a check.
