I hate AQ so much. Hand vs Juanda, Niagara wpt

guys, on the river his range isnt wide.
seriously wtf.
he either has two hearts or a hand that beats AQ. thats pretty narrow.

I know nothing about JJ, except that TV people say he's good, but if he's decent, his range is pretty well defined after the flop and gets more defined on turn + river.

Edit: MLG beat me to it.

My guess is his flop range is like AT-AK like always, 88/33 discounted but possible, A8s if he plays like that pre, and a bunch of heart hands. Turn maybe AK/A8s always, AQ/AJ discounted, 88/33 every time he gets here with them, hearts discounted. River range is just turn range without AJ and hearts even less likely.

I guess when I say his range is wide, I'm saying that you aren't always behind here. Preflop I think he repops AA, KK and AK here almost 100% of the time. 88 and 33 are real possibilties as are AQ and possibly AJ and AT. The other large group of hands that you are ahead here are a few different heart hands.

is that a universal thing, or are you ever trying to squeeze it thin and bet AJ on the river here? My first post here said it's a fold if he doesn't bet AJ but I felt like the way Steve underrepped his hand so hard that Juanda would be missing a ton by not betting AJ as AQ is basically the only possible holding he's behind and god knows what those crazy internet players will call down with.

there are players/situations where betting AJ on the river is right i think, for example if the preflop action was MP opens, and then CO and Button call instead of UTG an MP1 MP2. or if the guy is a call station, or if the guy always bets top pair, blahblahblah. its more in this spot that i think betting AJ thin for value on the turn AND river is bad.

i don't see jj repopping ak here. i think deception would be the better play with ak. i do see aa,kk being reraised. The flop call would worry me also. would juanda want to get involved with another big stack on a bluff. what hands could you beat when juanda seems to value bet the river
