Greatest Comic Book Movie of All Time - Final Four

I voted Batman Begins and I tied the other one up by voting for X2.

I can't believe all this hate for batman, are you people insane?

-Jack and all the Joker lines alone make this movie incredible. And here is why the Joker is awesome in this movie, he's an insane lunatic who does a bunch of insane lunatic things like poison the cosmetics his shell company sells/try and kill people at the parade. Movies where the criminally insane somehow have coherent plots for global domination are lame, they should be doing crazy insane things. And some of the crap he says is incredible

-Prince soundtrack- are you people kidding me that you think prince music is BAD? WTF? Have you ever heard batdance? Gold, pure gold
-bear in mind this movie was made in the 80s. Comparing it to total garbage liek X2 is like saying "X2 is better than casablanca, they didnt even shoot casablanca in color"


What does x2 have? Hugh jackman? Anna paquin? are you fing kidding me?


Now, batman begins is awesome. But katie holmes single handedly almost ruins that movie with her terrible acting, stupid face, and just generally being katie holmes.

I can understand the allegiance to X2 and Sin City, and while both were absolutely outstanding comic movies, Batman set the stage, and is the one by which all others must be judged. Batman must be king here, it was a revolution.

Whoever wins in the semifinal between Sin City and Batman Begins will win it all.

I guess you could say you had the AFC-NFC set up, since it isn't really March Madness.

Another way of making round 64 things is tennis. They have been doing it way longer than NCAA basketball and they do a great job of setting up the best matches at the end.

After saying that, I'll say Batman Begins was the best of these four.

batman set the stage, so u can argue it's the most IMPORTANT of the 3, but sin city/batman begins were better overall movies; but batman is close

You can debate which is the better movie between SC and BB (I personally think It's SC and not close).

But as far as comic book movies go, Sin City is untouchable. SC is a comic book fan's wet dream. No comic book movie has ever stayed so true to the source material. It features heavy character narration, it has still shots taken straight from the books, and it maintains the tone and pacing of the books. It doesn't ruin itself by trying to be too realistic, it keeps the fantastic aspect of comic books (people taking multiple bullets and living, jumping off buildings without spraining ankles, etc.) and makes it look believable. It's basically a comic book come to life, which is exactly what every comic book movie ever made should have been. It even has an incredible soundtrack that captures the feeling of the stories being told.

So not close IMO.

I don't think X2 is a great movie, but seeing the Keaton/Nicholson Batman in the theaters was the single most disappointing movie experience I ever had.

"Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?" WTF

"You wanna get nuts? Let's get nuts!" WTFWTF

Alfred lets Vickie into the Batcave?!?! WTFWTFWTF

Joker killed Bruce's parents? WTFWTFWTF

Not to mention there's basically one hand-to-hand combat scene that lasts 10 seconds.
