[ QUOTE ] the actual harvestable part from marijuana would me much smaller then tobacco though wouldn't it? Or would this be only for the guiness of weeds. [/ QUOTE ] The marajuana plant is one of the most versatile crop plants around. If it were legalized, farmers would be able to provide much more to a consumer market than just the bud . [/ QUOTE ] i hear this all the time. propaganda, no? or will wal-mart start carrying hemp clothing once marijuana is legalized? |

A friend of mine lives in the Netherlands and says it's 12-15 Euro for a 2.5 gram bag. Which translates to something like $US 25 for an eighth ounce, plus or minus for quality.

Mass producing Budweiser quality weed would be a dumb idea. About the only material difference in costs would be the seeds or clones to start with, and it isn't going to be that much more to go with a top-of-the-line strain. After the initial outlay you can clone your own plants for free and have the same quality.

how much would i pay? well i pay around 135 for 3/8ths of good, not great, weed now, so i'd pay that.
i'd never grow my own, so i guess if there was no other way to get weed, i'd buy a pack of 20 joints for a lot if i really wanted to smoke. $250? i'm guessing i would only have to pay 20 or so bucks though, which would be awful nice. |
