[ QUOTE ]
Why would you? [/ QUOTE ] The only thing a bet accomplishes is it lets utg get away cheap w/ AK, JJ or we get raised. If we get raised we are probably in trouble. I am not sure a check is best, but I think it has merit. |

So in this case I should be calling down pretty much no matter what hits? [/ QUOTE ] No. You have to pay attention to the action, too. My point is just that bet-folding TPTK on the flop because you think someone is rockish is silly. Even seemingly rockish players will raise AK here or JJ (and check behind on the turn, call a river bet). I would need to be very very certain that he really is a rock before even contemplating a flop bet-fold with TPTK. |

Q2, Q3, 32, A2, and A3 are all in this guy's range. AK is also quite likely, [/ QUOTE ] Q2, Q3 and 32 after a raise and reraise preflop? Not sure I think the stats support that. As far as Miles saying that QQ and AK don't belong in his range he may be right, but many many players are reluctant to cap preflop with less than KK. |

Q3 apparently is in his range for calling 2 more PF. |

54 and Q3 are eons apart in the eyes of a fish, honestly.
since i table talk a lot, i hear people talk trash about hands like K4o, but the same players will play 54o because it makes straights. so while the guy might play Q3s or Q2s in this situation, its highly likely that his range includes 54 but not Q3o/Q2o. |
