Re: Kicked out with a valid ID at Hard Rock - what should I have done?
Smart move going quietly. Much better to be asked to leave tonight and be welcome to come back later, than get them mad enough to tell you never to come back.
As others have said, it's a valid ID in the sense that it gives you a legal right to drive your car. If a traffic cop refuses to believe it, you'd have a legitimate gripe. But having ID doesn't obligate much of anyone else to do anything for you. |

Re: Kicked out with a valid ID at Hard Rock - what should I have done?
hard to believe this thread is still going. the casino is not obligated to anybody.........period. short story... 20 some years ago at the old king 8 gamblin'hall i was waiting to meet my brother in the casino. as i am thinking about playing craps, i lean up against the table. there is only one guy playing and he is at the far end of the table. boxman tells me i can't stand there and we go back and forth for a couple of minutes...no yelling or rudeness...just asking why not. basically he says because he says so. he goes back and picks up a phone and about 15 seconds later i'm in the parking lot. my feet never touched the ground on the way out.
