Re: turning made hands into bluffs

Hand #2 can you explain your logic? I never take lines like this and don't really know what you are doing. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: turning made hands into bluffs
hand 2 - he calls the turn definitely with a pocket pair or a Q (especially no question if he has a club) but the river he usually folds if he doesn't have a flush because he expects hero to give up if he bluffed the turn. you see it a ton, call turn fold river with a pocket pair there.

Re: turning made hands into bluffs
i like #2 if he's not a calling station. definitely credible.
#1 i'm having trouble understanding...i think is range is more like tens, 77, 6x, 55 etc. rather than JJ-KK and tens. i check behind because a. i think you're ahead most of the time and b. i don't even think he's folding a T after that river. |

Re: turning made hands into bluffs
hand 2 would work much better if the river wasn't a King. Or a club for that matter. I think he has high cards here with a club in there a biiig percentage of the time.
hand 1, I dig it against most. Against the goood taglags though, nay. |

Re: turning made hands into bluffs
yeah I dont understand turn bet in hand1 either...? River shove is neccessary after turn bet.
hand2 your line is interesting. With right image it seems okay, but maybe dangerous to do against an unknown. Once they call the turn, I dont know about the value in shoving certain rivers. |
