You're offering an extreme hypothetical here becuase, to be honest, not shoving on the flop is a huge mistake. If you're calling on the flop, it's because you feel that villain doesn't have the flush draw and you want to give him the chance to represent it if a diamond comes on the turn.

Alright, alright.

I posted this hand because after it went down, on the way home, a friend and I speculated as to how else the hand could have been played.

As it went down, I shoved, MP folded, and Villain immediately called with QdJd. Turn brought the 5d, river As, ship $280 to Villain. I didn't see how Villain is committed, but my friend thought he was. I'm happy with my play, I just always wonder, "Might there have been another way?"
