[ QUOTE ]
I think limit is easier to be successful if you're better at decision analysis than the average player and don't have much time to study and play. [/ QUOTE ] I like this. |

I live in Minnesota.
Also, I am very good at limit poker and only a marginal NL player. |

one more minor reason to add to the list:
significantly more hands per hour. there is very rarely a stare down in limit and taking 30 seconds to decide is rare. even though turns and rivers are much rarer in NL, it at least *seems* much much slower live. there always seems to be 1 or 2 jokers that never fold in under 30 when the pot is above 10bb. you know the guy who gives a speech at the end of EVERY HAND he plays? that guy plays NL. |

I play live limit because of stack limits, deep stack NL is a must and who has that but Vegas. Also profit; once you beat a table or club squad at a level you can just have all the money. In NL many beaten foes will quit you. Another reason for limit is less gamble not more; NL is much more flat out betting odds. Limit takes a different Head and thus some other kind of getting into it. plus NL played well is unheard of.
