Bet more, much more, on the turn if you're betting. Obv. check-raise if you're fairly sure he's betting.

Villian in this hand plays pretty good from what I have seen. After I call the flop I dont think he bets many hands on the turn, so checkraing is not an option, because any hands he would bet through the Queen hes not folding, hes either raising or calling my bet. As far as the size of the bet, I bet 15k into 55, thinking he has 1 out to make quads, or no outs. Either way, I like the small bet. [/ QUOTE ] Umm yeah he flat called you PF, and then raised on the flop. He's probably betting turn here if you check. Especially when you show weakness both pre and post flop by not 4/3 towning. C/Ring here would be my prefered play. I also think if villian checks behind, we dont mind giving a free card and hoping he catches up a little. |

I have to disagree with a lot of the advice being critical of the turn bet. Really, what is he afraid of? No possible flush. A small bet to try and get some value for your hand. If you make a pot sized bet, villain will surely fold.
If you knew he had exactly JT, then it would be a different story, but how are you going to put him on that? Seriously |

I fold QQ pretty quickly if you are the hero, and snap-call if you are villain.

Didn't read responses yet.. I think flop is close to a fold actually. But I don't know villain by name. Most in this thing aren't raising as a bluff in this spot, but its close since they may raise JJ/TT for 'information'. I hate turn bet sizing. Just lead for 35k+ so that you can shove river. or go for the c/r if he is laggy. River is a snap call. Too likely that he puts you on KQ/AA or w/e and shoves smaller set for value.
