The hand looks fine
Saying that raising pf here is a mistake is absurd. It is +cEV to open shove with AJo. I would never fold AJo here pf. |

[/ QUOTE ] Not so sure shoving is +EV in a $60 with 4 unknowns and 1 tighty left to act. For it to be +EV these guys need to be folding AQo which I'm not so sure they can do (also need them folding 99). |

I like the hand.
+cEV doesn't always mean +EV. |

Nobody thinks the weak flop bet is inviting BB to play back? Checking behind on the flop also feels weak to me, but I'm used to the $16 calling stations right now. I think I c-bet flop a bit harder to try and reduce the possibility of the CRAI bluff/semi-bluff.
Preflop is fine when you have players calling instead of re-popping pfr's on a regular basis. |

Total WAG - against an unknown villian here's what happens the most often when he checks this flop:
1. Fold to c-bet (50%) 2. Reshove (35%) 3. Call (15%) Fold % could be higher, I think I'm being conservative. If someone wants to do the ICM #s on c-betting, I'd love to see where the breakeven point is as far as villian reshove %. For simplicity's sake lets say the time villian calls we don't lose any more money, and we have 1/3 pot equity. IE - we win some of the time when we improve or he checks it down with a draw etc. But more often than not if he calls we're saying goodbye to the pot. Also lets say if we check behind we have 60% pot equity. Does that seem right? |

Hand was played fine. I play it pretty much exactly the same, including my bet sizing.

FWIW I play this hand the same way except sometimes I check back the flop or bet slightly less.
Here was my point when you raise this hand and win the pot you will win a huge amount of the time without showdown. If you are raise folding preflop you should be raising a really wide range because you can play hands like 76s profitably postflop and raise fold them as well. |

Well then you get more into table image and timing. If I've been quiet I might raise 76s, not here but on the CO or button. If I've been active, no way. But if I've been active I'll still raise AJo and prepare to call a shove from a lot of players.
