I think this can go either way and neither line is terrible. The thing about calling is that you have very little implied odds since your hand will be face up if you get there.

I think there's probably not much of away to reduce variance here and you can't fold.

Yeah, I know- I'm a big help.

I push because "ZOMG COMBO DRAW!", but I'm not certain that's the best line.

Do you plan to call the turn bet if you miss your flush or gutshot straight? If not, then you have to push all-in on the flop after SB check-raised. This way you are guaranteed to see the remaining 2 cards no matter what. The range I put SB on is {JT,T9,T8,98,97,87}. Given this range, PokerStove says:

Ah, a range! If I am reading this correctly I think this is a fair enough range.

There is a piece of flawed logic here though. There is no reason you have to move in here if you plan on folding on the turn if you miss your outs to a straight or flush. Why can you not call here and fold there turn?

Oops... I missed the gutshot. I was sitting here thinking why OP was calling this a combo draw. Silly me.

Before I said either push or call depending on the player. I think I'm going to retract and push in this spot against almost everyone.

What range are you putting the SB on here?

[/ QUOTE ]

i agree with threads. you have very, very, little FE. the ONLY hands you have fold equity are...JJ (MAYBE, they have the gutter to), QQ, and small pp.

I think you guys don't realize how dangerous this board. aside from a monochrome board, this is about as bad as it gets.

this is NL100, i doubt anybody is making a play at you thinking you can lay down a big PP. this board, you either have a set, 2p, or a combo draw.

You are only beating a combo draw. I would be more than happy the call the reraise, and see if i hit my gutter/FD. There is no way my 2 overs are good unless i hit runner runner for 2p.

I am liking you more and more.....

lol, thanks? why wouldn't you like me. i'm sure since i'm at NL50 and 25 i've yet to take a stack from anybody here.

um...what??? lol, a range that skips all sets. that doesn't even make sense. he's just as likely to have a set as 2p on this board. (i mean, he's just as likely to have 2p as a set on this board since it's so connected)

edit:

also, i really don't like your flop bet. You should know how you're going to proceed if you get called/raised.

You probably put out the worst bet size you could. Not enough to tell you anything, and certainly not enough to fold anybody out.

why 8 dollars into a 13 pot multiway? that's setting yourself to get blown out, unless you welcome getting your money in. check through, or pot it (10-12).

Yes, sets are in his range as well. I missed that those weren't in there. Other than that, I think its a good range.

Can somebody add the sets in so we can get our equity against this range?
