Well, that's great, but it's better to be ahead and also get money out of him.

I've noticed in all your posts that you seem to play with scared money. My advice is to drop down a level or two until you can make the right moves irrespective of how much money you put on the table.

actually marchron its not about the money but about maing correct decision
when i posta hand here i often made the correct one,but i just want it to know what was the general opinion here.
unfortunately,once i take for granted the answer i applicated and it like almost never workin the sense i value bet when i feel its wrong and i end up paying a bet i shouldnt or only cheecking behind on river instaed of bet for value and when i try it i loose it
but of course those are small sample but for now it doesnt really work
i know the point is in the long run u should get paid more then u loose since there s so much bad caller to the river.
im just not a fan of value bet vs tight player or when its not HU and lot of draw hit the river.
having still dificulty to read when its a good time to value bet and when its beter to check behind

montreal, the main thing is to play a lot and get more comfortable in many situations. then when you have a question about one you'll have more experience to use to help out

This is an interesting point, given the unusual turn line would a river bet look too suspect? Ima thinking how often will villain bet behind after we check both turn & river. If we think there's a reasonable chance they'll bet then I favour a c/c over bet here with a very strong consideration for a c/r, which I'm assuming will get a wtf call!

If my memory serves me well, the guruman thing I believe u r referring to is having position on ur opp & checking behind on the turn to induce a river bet so u can raise it.

Raise pf yo (call if 3-bet), when yo get 3-bet by a 7%pfr thats not a very large range you have to put him on.

Anyho hand plays differently after that.
But srsly Montrealcorp, Given your recent threads, I'm not sure that 0.5/1.0 is the best place to learn these things. Unless you table select gOOt and have an awesome winrate already, maybe you should move down for a while?

While calling may make it more difficult to play post flop, calling is still better than folding!

Calling w/ AJ here is still +EV in this game, while folding has an EV of zero.
