Sorry for the bump but 8/2 over 400 hands is pretty hilarious.

{QQ+, AK} = 2.6%
{JJ+, AKs} = 2.1%
{JJ+} = 1.8%

And that's his OPENING range. Min 3-betting range has to be exactly AA. Call and set-mine your KK. Seriously, this flop is an easy fold, let alone the turn. The difference between him playing like this and actually showing his cards is negligible.

Nice math. Call, and fold the flop. What happens if the flop comes AK7 though? Now THAT is a tough spot.

I'd be tempted to donk the flop rather than check/call. If he calls, there's a hella good chance you're beat. If he raises 97% chance you're beat.

I haven't played a great deal of poker for a while and the game seems to have changed rather drastically. Either that or I'm being really stupid and missed something obvious.

1. Pre-flop I reraise to $40.
2. Giving a free card on this flop is horrible and a gross mistake.

It's the 8/2 bit then. What does it mean?
I can't think of anything it can mean to make my comments incorrect.

8 = 8% = Voluntary Put $ in pot. The amount of times he puts money in the middle without it counting from the blinds.

2 = 2% = Preflop raise. The amount of times he actually raises before the flop.

I see, so we are pretty sure he has pocket aces, then the right move must be to fold to his preflop raise.

No, we go set-mining. I recommend the 'micro-limits' or 'beginner' forums. Take as much offense with that as you like.

What do we do if we hit a K on flop? Say, flop is K93 rainbow. Do we c/c flop, c/r turn?
