I thought it was okay when I heard this hand from you but I really dislike preflop if she is aggro/good postflop.

Re: WSOP 2k hand, just itm w/44
My style would be to push preflop, and I am pretty sure it is cEV+. If everyone folds, you pick up 14K.
You have position, but 44 is not the easiest hand to play. As played, I would push the flop with a pair and gutshot. She may have overcards. You are about 25% against a pair and 75% against overcards. What kind of flop are you looking for. This seems about as good as can be without flopping a set. As played, it is close, but the turn fold may be best. I really don't like folding preflop, given the description of the villain. Sure if you are going to play it weakly postflop, folding is better. Preflop, I like either a flat call or a push. |

Re: WSOP 2k hand, just itm w/44
say she opens 30% of the time and calls top 5%
88+,AJs+,KQs,AKo 83% of the time you pick up 12k=10k 17% of the time you will have 33% equity in a 136k pot and lose about 20k (.17x20)=3400 +6500 chipev but ignores blinds overcalling which hurts a bit perhaps a tad optimistic conditions but I wouldn't think zomg shoving raising sucks |
