Re: New Software: The Opener
The server that is hosting my site is down. I apologize for the issue. I checked and verified the file posted by ryanj, you can use that for now until the server is back up.

Re: New Software: The Opener
jerkface,
Check your PM Box as I haven't been able to reproduce the bug where the "File not found" message shows and the programs launch. r0eky, Having tables open automatically and positioning them would convenient if you were using The Opener to run your poker programs (which most people on this forum probably are). However, The Opener is designed so that it could be used for anything you want it to open. That being said, I did include the Run Code option. This allows you to run any AutoHotkey script directly after a specific program is launched. So if you have one that will open poker tables for you, all you need to do is tell The Opener that you want that script to run. As for positioning tables. There are some options already out there. For Full Tilt there is the Full Tilt Planner. There is also PokerAide Window Manager, has more features and can do any site, but it's website has been down for a while. I'll look around for the install file, if I find it, I'll bump the PokerAide Window Manager thread. |

Re: New Software: The Opener
I usually set PokerStars priority to high manually. It's great that The Opener allows me to do things like this automatically, but unfortunately because PokerStars.exe is launched by PokerStarsUpdate.exe, all The Opener can help me out with is switching the priority of the Update to high rather than the actual Stars client.
I'm guessing there's not a simple fix for this, but if anyone knows of one I'd appreciate it. |

Re: New Software: The Opener
The work around is rather simple. The Opener lets you specify an AutoHotkey script to launch when you open an item (the Run Code option). If you create a .ahk file with the following, it will change the priority of PokerStars.exe when it is detected.
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>WinWait, PokerStars Lobby WinGet, pid, PID, PokerStars Lobby Process, Priority, %pid%, High </pre><hr /> |
