2 iron: Titleist 690CB w/ Dynamic Gold S300

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, I bow down to you and the 2 iron... I don't think I could hit one when I'm dreaming. I also bow down the the guy who is hitting the 7.5* Driver....

[/ QUOTE ]
I'm certainly not worthy of anyone bowing down to me. I don't like fairway woods very much. I've never really understood why people like replacing a bunch of long irons with fairway woods, I think long irons are easier to hit. However, if I were playing a lot and buying new equipment I'd probably get a hybrid if I had a chance to practice with them a bit.

I mostly use the 2 iron on short-ish par 4's off the tee. I hit it a lot straighter than a comparable fairway wood and 210-225, which is a little shorter than a 5 wood but far enough for holes where I don't need a driver.

Couple things to add:

The TA3 irons are the forged version, bought them in late 1999 I think. I love them.

I might ditch the 2 iron and get a gap wedge some time soon. I was never really a fan of the 4 wedge setup but as I've gotten longer over the years the gap between my pw and sw has gotten bigger and the need for longer irons/fairway woods has lessened.

Driver Adams 303 it’s too light it’s too small and it feels hollow but it’s been able to keep several challengers out of my bag.
4 Wood Callaway steel head really like this one
7 wood Callaway steel head have a lot more problems hitting this for some reason
9 Wood Dunlop 65 cheap and nasty but does its job
5-LW DCI oversized+ big heads moderate offset nice versatile sole on the wedges I'm not looking to change but I’m not ruling it out
Putter Odyssey Rossie 2 heavy and easy to align it can stay for a while.
