This is pretty simple....It seems like something the girl needs help for...Your parents know her parents.....Your parents need to give her parents the note so they can get help for their daughter

First of all...i am 35 years old and i dont know the cool high school trends that goes on but my cousin is a teacher and she tells me its very common for kids these days to cut themselves...Are there any high school teachers in the 2p2 world who could agree with this statement? it looks like she is just trying to get attention from the guy however kids these days...they do crazy things.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Nine times out of ten she's cutting because she feels "numb", and the cutting allows her to feel something. As for the fact that you're thirty five, this isn't a new thing. There's plenty of 35 yr olds who cut(Like your generation has any room to complain about anyother one).

Yup. If you found a letter like that one and it was written by your daughter, would you do something about it? I'm going to assume the answer is yes. I'm sure her parents would like to know, so they can react to the situation. Either they'll stop something terrible from happening, or they'll stop their daughter from being an attention-starved idiot. Either way, they'll solve the problem. I think Chesspain's advice is superb in this situation. There also seems to be general agreement from the forum.

The cutting is bad news, find a way to let someone know. Damaging the relationship is actually a small price to pay in the long run.

Noggindoc, what kinda of "noggin" doc? Psychiatry? Psychology?(Ph.D, Psy.D)? Neurology?

If any of the above, specifically the former 2, take his advice. Taking it on here probably saved you 100-200$ an hour.

Don't know if I'd trust going to the school, but you can call a suicide helpline. SOmeone who cuts herself is of interest even if you doubt it would come to death.
